Leadership extends further than a position. Rather, it is a means of influence and impact. This course presents knowledge of the influence you have in different levels of your organization and how to apply it with the people around you to promote team cohesiveness.
ENGAGING THE NEW GENERATION
Employees are critical to the success of every business. Understanding the importance to how the new generation in the workforce today is much different than any other generation. Employees from ages 6 to 24, also known as Generation “Why” employees, don’t think like any other generation or value the same things that maybe you value. The Engaging The New Generation course focuses on a business' most precious asset: employees.
THE ART OF RECRUITMENT
High impact recruiting is a strategic predictive metric, which is often not shared outside of the industry. Students will be exposed to this unique focus of management on predicting upcoming recruiting problems and opportunities. Students will view the demands of the corporate culture in creating recruitment strategies to accommodate industry upsurges and current power players in wages, staffing and how these factors impact stakeholders in local communities.
TEAM BUILDING & COACHING ESSENTIALS
A team is defined as a group of people who are mutually dependent on one another to achieve a common goal. Successful team leaders are able to recognize and leverage the different talents and experiences each individual brings to the table, and uses that to achieve their shared goal. The content of this course expresses the characteristics that make a great team, how to develop a successful team, and then how to lead it.
PEOPLE AND LEADERS
During times of crisis, leaders must interact with various people in various emotional states. This course set is designed to reinforce skills on how to properly respond when others may not be in a state of calm, including anger or panic. Chaplains will be able to help identify emotional issues and respond accordingly in organizational and disaster-oriented situations.
ETHICS
This course provides foundational ethical decision-making strategies and code of conduct information within the organization. It functions as a fundamental general ethics course that exposes students to various ethical decision-making models and then expands to cover common code of conduct topics.
